Responsive Landing Page For A Lip Markers Selling Website

Context
The landing page was designed for an online store specialising in lip markers. The objective was to highlight a specific lip marker to demonstrate the product and attract potential customers.
The assignment involved creating both a responsive desktop version and a mobile version of the landing page, resulting in a total of two mockups.
Please note: placeholders were used for the logo, product images, and unique copy for demonstration purposes.
Inputs
The project was bound by tight time constraints and required swift completion. In total, it took 2 working days to finalise the mockups.
The style preferences emphasised the use of red hues and minimal font variation. In general - the preference was to keep it simple :)
Wireframes
I started with wireframes to outline the structure of desktop & mobile landing pages. I aimed to incorporate a specified set of data into these wireframes, ensuring that information and media would be displayed well on smaller screen sizes.
Visual decisions
With accessibility in mind, I opted for a less vibrant colour palette. Red hues were primarily utilised as accent colours in the design, with a prevalence of softer, less intense colours for the background.
Another objective for me was to ensure that sufficient attention was directed towards the product images themselves.
To add visual interest to the design, I opted to create custom swatches for the lip marker shades.
Typography
For this project, I used the Roboto typeface as per the client's preference. However, I incorporated a few font variations to maintain content hierarchy on both desktop and mobile platforms.
